Thomas W. Comer handles a variety of litigation and insurance matters in the state and federal courts on behalf of corporations, corporate officers and directors and insurance companies and their insureds. His experience includes professional liability, property and casualty, products liability and insurance coverage matters. Mr. Comer serves as National Coordinating Counsel for a major international insurance company in which capacity he manages insurance based claims, including property and casualty, construction defects and products liability.
Mr. Comer is a skilled trial attorney having tried more than 35 cases to verdict, with recent trial successes on behalf of a Fortune 50 corporation, as well as a large commercial real estate company. Mr. Comer is regularly retained as trial counsel by a major insurance company to defend its insureds in multi-million dollar lawsuits. Mr. Comer recognizes the benefits of and is adept at resolving claims through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods. Mr. Comer began his professional career by serving as an Assistance District Attorney and Deputy Bureau Chief in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where he acquired extensive trial and investigative experience.
