Ms. Collins has represented carriers in matters involving directors and officers liability, financial institutions professional liability, lawyers professional liability and other professional errors and omissions liability insurance for over 20 years. As coverage and monitoring counsel for insurers, Ms. Collins has extensive experience in securities class actions, shareholder derivative litigation, claims arising out of mergers and acquisitions, corporate bankruptcies, insurance company failures and professional malpractice as well as the resolution of complex coverage disputes. Ms. Collins has represented insurance carriers in such matters as In re Enron Corporation Securities Litigation, In re WorldCom Corporation Securities Litigation, stock option backdating, mutual fund market timing and subprime mortgage lending.
