Environmental Representation and Litigation
'Amato & Lynch has a long-standing history of representing major domestic and foreign insurers in environmental claims. The firm's experience runs the gamut from representing insurers in major environmental and toxic tort coverage disputes and litigation, to defending insureds in toxic tort litigation claims (when it was appointed by the insurer), to drafting policies covering a wide range of asbestos, environmental and product liability exposures. The firm has developed and drafted environmental and products liability policies for some of the largest domestic and foreign insurers in the world, with many policies in widespread use today. Insurers have also utilized the firm's in-depth background in environmental and toxic torts to provide coverage opinions on environmental and toxic tort questions.
